Are you passionate about what you’re writing?
Bloggers have one of the most awesome jobs in the world because they get to make a living by doing something close to their hearts. There’s nothing better than being paid to do what you love.
This makes bloggers one of the luckiest people too because so many people hate their jobs and are contemplating on quitting. According to a Forbes 2009 article, 71% of employees hate their jobs and are thinking of quitting. Imagine being one of them.
Imagine if you have to drag yourself to work every day and deal with things that are going to stress you out. Imagine having to whine and mope for 8 hours. That’s not a good way to live. We must like our jobs because majority of our time is spent on that.
So be thankful that you’re blogging. This is truly a gift. Not everyone can say they are very happy and content with their job.
Don’t worry if you’re still stuck in a job you don’t like because it’s never too late to start make a living by blogging.
But you have to remember that blogging requires passion. It’s critical that you’re absolutely in love with what you’re writing.
I know a lot of people who are blogging their way to success. Though I haven’t met them personally, I know their stories and those stories are inspiring for people like us. They show us that it’s possible to have a stable job by blogging.
The Wake Up Cloud, a really awesome passion blog by Henri Juntilla, is one great source for tips on blogging about your passion. It offers a lot of tips–most of them are based on his experiences–we can use to blog our way to success.
Following this blog has taught me that we must first learn that blogging about your passion is the best way to succeed. There are so many people who want to get into the bandwagon because they only want to make money. Now, don’t get me wrong, I also want to make money by blogging but it’s not my main concern. I blog because it’s my passion.
This is how your mindset should be.
You’ll never get tired of doing it. People who are unhappy with their jobs are tired of doing the same thing over and over. They no longer feel any satisfaction and fulfillment; they also don’t feel inspired and excited about it. But if you’re blogging about your passion, no matter how hard your topic is or how many posts you need to complete, you’ll still do it because you’re fueled by something that’s a lot more powerful than deadlines: passion.
Every day is something you’ll look forward to. You’ll never drag yourself to work because you’re going to work at home. Additionally, you won’t have to feel like putting off writing because it’s something you enjoy doing. Think of something you’re really interested in. It can be sports, music, or the arts. When given the chance to do any of those, how do you feel? Do you look forward to doing it?
Problems are challenges you’ll be willing to face and solve. Every job has its own set of problems. You’ll encounter problems in the future. The difference between those who are stuck in a job they hate and those who love what they’re doing is how problems are resolved. For people like us, who are lucky to have found a job we’re passionate about, problems are nothing.
It’s easy to learn something you care about. Don’t know how to start blogging or how to launch it? You’ll quickly learn the ropes even if there are tons of stuff to go through. It’s really simple. You’re willing to put in the effort to learn something you’re interested in.
This will give you a long-lasting career that you’ll never get tired of. So start blogging about things you’re passionate about. It’s the first step to having a lifetime career that you’ll enjoy. And by choosing to blog about something close to your heart, you can be sure to not end up with a failed blog.

I’ve been running my online business for over 15 years now and when I first started out I was just a kid. I didn’t have any credit, so I couldn’t get a credit card. For the longest time I was using a credit card in my parents’ names and with all of the spending online they had some killer credit history! Soon enough I was finally able to get a credit card of my own and then the fun began!
Having a credit card for your online business is key. It’s not just about being able to plug your credit card number into your favorite web sites and order away, it’s about all of the services and perks that come along with having a credit card and how much easier it makes running your online business.
In this article I’m going to point out just a few of the reasons why I’ve always been a huge fan of using credit cards for my business versus writing checks and having payments come right out of my bank accounts.
The first reason why using a credit card for your business is crucial is that you get an extra sense of security with all transactions. Credit card companies are going to be on the lookout for any weird activity on your cards and will almost always be on your side if there are any disputes or issues with services you order. I order services from companies and web sites all around the world and I’ll occasionally get calls from my credit card company to see if the charges are authentic. This is usually when a rare order comes in that is oversees and doesn’t look ordinary. All in all, if you want to run a safe and secure business, credit cards can provide you with that extra layer of protection. For example, Visa Business cards offer lost or stolen card reporting and multiple layers of security.
If you are going to be spending thousands upon thousands of dollars for your business, you might as well get rewarded in the process. Years ago I was spending six figures a year in advertising costs and when you have a credit card that offers a rewards program or cash back, these numbers can really add up. With my points, I was able to secure some really amazing experiences like playing in Madison Square Garden with my Dad against John Starks and Charles Oakley for an hour… and yes, THE WHOLE Madison Square Garden was closed just for us to play on the court! How amazing is that!
Lastly, there is nothing fun about doing business taxes, but through the use of a credit card you can make the experience so much less painful. You no longer have to receive credit card statements in the mail and save all of your documents. Everything can be done online now. All I have to do is wait until the end of the year, print my year end statements and hand them off to my accountant. This is also a great way to see your monthly spending habits and keep up to date on where you are spending money. If you have a Visa Business card, you can sign up for Visa SavingsEdge, which gives you automatic discounts with certain merchants. These discounts show up as credits on your statements, making it easy to keep track of your savings.
As you can see, there are some really great reasons why you should be using a credit card for your business. Not only is it an excellent way to improve your credit history, but it will allow you to great expand your business and spending reach as well.
